She's been fortunate enough to have had her work published in top publications and books and is a Designer Member of the Craft and Hobby Association. I am a craft-a-holic who loves nothing better than spending time in my craft room creating. I create an assortment of projects - from cards and layouts to mix'd media and altered art.   My day is just not complete if I haven't spent some time crafting. I have a dedicated craft area where I work and teach a wide variety of classes for the beginner and the more experienced crafter.  I love using assorted tools  (Bind-it-all, Cricut, Sizzix, Spellbinders) plus inks and stamps in my work.  I am a firm believer in playing with your supplies because only then can you truly see their full potential.  I have been fortunate to have a number of my projects published.  I am a  Craft and Hobby Association Designer Member.

Joe Rotella *photo coming soon*

Joe’s mom started the family on crafting. As early as he can remember, his mom was crocheting. When she brought home a Brother knitting machine, he was fascinated and soon he was creating designs from Christening dresses to ski wear. He dabbled in macramé, string art and latch hooked rugs when they were hot in the 70’s. Now, in his mid-forties, Joe’s turned his eye to paper crafting. He loves detail and 3D work and paper piecing is his specialty. Joe’s work has appeared in Scrap & Stamp ArtsJust Steampunk! andSomerset Studio Gallery Summer 2012 magazines. He’s filmed a segment of Crafting at the Spotted Canary with Joy Macdonell (airs on PBS Fall 2011) and 2 segments for Scrapbook Soup TV(Season 2, 2012). He has won Archiver’s One-of-a-Kind Wall Artcontest (Ohio, August 2011). He’s on the Viva Las Vegastamps! and USArtQuest design teams. When he’s not designing paper art projects, he works as CTO at Delphia Consulting and is the 2012 Web Optimization Expert for the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA).

Joe is on the design team forViva Las Vegastamps! and has had his cards published in Scrap and Stamp Arts and Just Steampunk! magazines. After living across the US, Joe has settled in Columbus, OH with his partner. Joe is on the design team for Create & Craft, where he enjoys developing new class ideas and teaching an occasional class at stores or exhibitions.

Carole Lassak *photo coming soon*

A jetsetter for ancient times, Carole enjoys traveling abroad to practice the dying art of handmade bobbin lace. The sounds of bobbins pattering against her bobbin pillow fill her home. At home, Carole acts out her fantasy as an Iron Chef challenger. Her favorite food is sushi, especially sea urchin. “I think any piece of raw seafood on a pillow of rice would delight me.

As a child, Betty would sometimes wander away from the house as she gleefully picked flowers from the neighbors’ yards. As a young wife, she was creating sand painted terrariums. As an adult, that passion turned into a career as successful floral designer, owning her own shop for 40 years. Now she spends her free time paper crafting, where she applies her design talents to card making. She’s especially fond of iris folding and creating flowers using paper!  You can see one of her iris fold cards in the June 2012 issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts magazine.
